Brazilian miner and iron ore producer Vale performed a third commissioning test as its North pier IV located as its S11D iron ore project.
According to Vale, the iron ore test cargo test was conducted at the pier, whose port terminal should soon be able to simultaneously load two Valemaxes with the product.
The first test was made in the end of August, assessed the ship mooning system. The second in early September, assessed if the ship mooning system as according to the company’s product. The third test looked to access the entire ship loading system, starting from the ore stockyards, passing through the carriers until the ship loaders.
